Use this missing numbers worksheet to help your child practise counting up to 110.
How do you explain missing numbers to your child?
Ask your child to look at the number before or after the empty space. When he or she says the correct answer, emphasize that it is correct. For example, if 14 was the correct missing number, say, yes, that is the number after 13.
If your child has just began learning to count up to 110, let him or her use a poster with all the numbers displayed. They’ll need to find the correct number on the poster and write it down in the empty space on their worksheet. Once they become confident enough, remove the poster and let them think of the missing numbers by themselves.
